One packaging, multiple designs. Cost-effective custom packaging printing

Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day, seasonal campaigns, limited editions or brand anniversaries. Each of these occasions calls for themed packaging that captures attention and supports sales. Thanks to modern digital packaging printing, it is no longer necessary to produce small and costly batches separately. With smart planning, we can print multiple designs on the same box size within a single production run, significantly reducing the cost per unit. See how this approach works in practice.
Digital packaging printing for every occasion – without compromise
Digital printing works differently from traditional technologies. We print directly onto sheets of cardboard or corrugated board, without the need for printing plates or complex setup. This allows us to smoothly alternate different graphic designs within a single production run without significantly affecting the final cost calculation.
One design may be Christmas-themed, another Easter-related, and another created for a limited edition or brand anniversary. The result is custom printed packaging prepared well in advance for the entire year, without last-minute stress or improvisation.

One structure, endless printing options at a lower cost
The greatest savings come when the packaging structure remains the same and only the graphics change. Producing a larger batch within a single order optimizes production costs and reduces the unit price. Instead of placing several smaller orders throughout the year, you can have custom packaging produced for the entire season at once.
Preparing multiple print files does require a bit of additional planning, but the result is more efficient and more cost-effective production compared to repeatedly producing small batches. For higher volumes, it is also possible to use high-capacity die-cutting tools or standard formats from our e-shop range, which significantly speeds up and simplifies the entire process.

Smart use of printing reduces costs even further
The price of digital printing also depends on its coverage. In many cases, it makes sense to print only part of the packaging — for example the lid, sleeve, internal fixation or a selected area of the box. For standard product lines, the graphics may be simpler, while for limited editions you can opt for full coverage printing with a more striking visual appearance.
Both approaches can be combined within a single order, with pricing always fairly reflecting the actual extent of the printing.

A proven model that works for our clients
Many of our clients choose a universal size for their product or gift packaging and produce a larger batch at once. From this batch, they then allocate a smaller number of units (minimum 50 pcs) that we print with themed graphics for specific occasions. This approach works particularly well for product ranges, gift sets and seasonal campaigns.
The brand remains visually consistent, yet each design feels original and purpose-driven. For a relatively small additional cost related to preparing multiple print files, you achieve a significantly lower unit price than if you were to produce individual batches throughout the year. The result is a smart solution that saves budget while creating new sales opportunities.
We have been applying this model long-term, for example in the production of gift boxes for cheese and delicatessen stores such as Cheese Market, or in cooperation with the manufacturer of stylish candles Dizajn od lesa. We also create multiple graphic designs for a single packaging type in collaboration with Elfa PHARM and many other brands. In practice, this model repeatedly proves to be a functional and economically sustainable approach.

Planning ahead pays off. And we are here to help.
